I need some ideas of where we should hold our consistent meetings. I personally am not a fan of dog beaches since I have a small dog and a dog with long hair. I prefer a park. Anyone have suggestions on how to get this started???

Fiesta Island is a great place if you want to take your dog to an off leash park that will give owners a little exercise too. Most owners here have their dogs under good control. I have a tiny dog myself and go here 4-5 times a week and never have had a problem. I'll post my map of the island under the files section.

There is also the following pet friendly places:

Cafe 222 - Downtown/Harbor area. Dog friendly patio, brunch then walk Harbor Dr - Online info: http://www.dogster.co...

Terra - Hillcrest Balboa Park area. dog friendly patio, Saturday breakfast is from 10:00 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. a dog menu is provided. brunch then walk Hillcrest/Balboa Park - online info -

The Living Room - Old Town area - Dog friendly patio, could have brunch then walk Old Town/Mission Hills area. Online info www.livingroomcafe.com

Just some places I've come across searching for new places to take my babies.

The Living room in La Jolla has a dog friendly patio, as does the Brew House, and The Bull and Bear even allows dogs inside. My favorite parks are Capeheart, Doyle, and Kate Sessions.
Looking forward to meeting with everyone!
